Gillean, Mary, Vanessa and Rebka speak on a plethora of issues and topics that affect women like them everyday: hair care woes, dating, careers, the highs and lows of being visibly Black Down Under; all with a jovial and lighthearted feel. In the podcasts’s fortnightly episodes, the girls use their wit and intellect to unpack the unique experience of the African diaspora in Australia.
Fufu & Tibs is named after dishes that respectively symbolise its hosts’ roots: Fufu from Gillean, Mary and Vanessa’s homeland of Ghana and Tibs from Rebka’s Ethiopian heritage.
